The Tribune company is putting itself up for Auction. The “be-all” media company owns quite an impressive list of media outlets inculding: The Chicago Tribune, L.A.Times, Chicago Cubs, a bunch of T.V. Stations, WGN radio and Tribune entertainment,.. just to name a few. That doesn’t sound bad does it?,.. So why put yourself up for auction?..

Nearly all of the company’s traditional media properties are suffering the effects of audience fragmentation caused by MySpace, YouTube, and a million video games. The era of traditional media conglomerate ownership is over.”
Still not sure if you’re company wants to take the leap and innovate?… That’s ok,.. at least you can’t say there weren’t any warning signs
