Social Media Marketing Manager
BrainGain is looking for a self-proclaimed Internet junkie who gets excited when talking about microblogging, social networking, trend hunting and social bookmarking. The Social Media Marketing Manager will not only lead campaigns, but effectively work with clients who may or may not grasp the power of social media. It will be your job to surprise, excite and endear them with new and creative marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate spends large amounts of time in their social networks including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, and is adept with Web 2.0 media, applications and emerging technologies. We especially welcome those who can write for the Internet, have run their own blogs, regularly participate and comment on blogs, and have experience with Search Engine Optimization.

This role requires the candidate to be an experienced manager who is able to think strategically, apply creative solutions and manage well-rounded campaigns which includes an understanding how social media strategies complement traditional media and marketing campaigns.

The Social Media Marketing Manager will work closely with our CEO to shape alternative maketing strategies as well as oversee the social media marketing team. The manager should be a self-starter who's able to work independently and lead a team. He/She should be youthful, creative and passionate about the world of new media.

Qualifications & Skills:
•  Social Media Marketing Addict: Must have a creative mind and understanding of new technologies
   and trends; driven to improve and try new marketing ideas
•  Social Butterfly: Must be savvy inside social media networks and understands the etiquette of
   engaging niche communities in conversation
•  Buttoned-Up: Manage several campaigns at once, stay on deadline and multi-task
•  Smooth Talker: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of transmitting
   detail-oriented information and reports
•  Walks the Walk: Thrive on metrics to gauge effectiveness of campaigns
•  Stand-Up Guy/Gal: Maintain and foster our reputation for effective and ethical marketing

Educational & Work Experience Requirements:
•  5 Years related marketing experience, preferably in PR, advertising or technology sector
•  BA or BS College degree preferred
